A villa from the 80’s, that went through an extensive renovation to accommodate it to a family of four – a couple with two adolescent children. The house was renovated from the ground, the interior division has been redesigned – the public spaces were located at the entrance floor, the first floor was divided into two wings – a parental suite and a child suite, and an additional child suite was located at the top floor.
The design style combines a modern and updated look with rustic warmth, and the result is light and familial. Neutral warm colors combine with wood and touches of metal and iron, while balancing between hot and cold, soft and hard. In the corner of the public space a modern fireplace has been integrated, and the television wall remained clean, except a usage in a coat with geometric texture. To the garden attached to the entrance floor, a swimming pool, an outside dining table, and different sitting areas were added. A spiral staircase with a minimalist design, an original element remained from the house’s past, leads to the top floors and the bedrooms. The master bedroom was designed by areas: for the sleeping area, a bed with upholstered back has been chosen, and to its side a large mirror with decorated frame has been placed. In front of the bed, a television wall was planned which its one side is used as a work area and the other is a spacious and functional walk-in closet. Next to the room there is a private balcony with indulging sun-beds for the couple’s quality time.
