5 room apartment in Rishon Lezion
138 sqm | 2016
The apartment that its territory covers approximately -138 sqm divided to 5 rooms, is located within the green park of Neot Shikma neighborhood in western Rishon Lezion. Though it resides in a maintained and well-kept building, it has been purchased in a bad shape of neglect – broken doors, black walls and broken blinds. Its tenants, a young family with two small children, came to me totally cohesive, with a vision and understanding of the design process that became experiential and interesting for them. Due to the grave shape of the apartment it was clear to all sides that this is about a massive renovation that includes a comprehensive replacement of the electrical and plumbing infrastructure. The ambition was to create a modern and lightened space, clean and planed. And thus, a monochromat colors scheme was chosen, which is presented in all of the elements and materials combined within the space. The house’s areas and rooms were designed as spacious and luxurious spaces, while making sure for the combination of storage solutions that will assure a well maintained clean look. The planning process took about a month, and the renovation itself, that included replacement of infrastructures, cladding and sanitary ware, carpentry and choosing furniture, took approximately three months.
